Solaris 11 b70 on a MacBook Pro with Parallels

Solaris Express Community Edition (Nevada) build 70 is out and works flawlessly on a MacBook Pro with Parallels.



The only minor trick was getting the network up and running,

  • Mount the 'vmtools.iso' from /Library/Parallels/Tools
  • /media/PRLTOOLS/Drivers/Network/RTL8029/SOLARIS/network.sh
  • reboot
